ACTION ALERT:
11th Annual Symposium September 17th!
Our 11th annual Symposium is coming up fast! We have an exciting day
planned in Redding and hope to see you there in a few weeks.
For your convenience, we have posted helpful information, including maps,
lodging, and flight information on the CCWR website at www.ccwr.org/symposium.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or if we can help in any
way.
The Symposium
Join us for a day-long
symposium on wildlife in one of the most beautiful and northern parts of
our sate - Redding, California. Consider extending your stay and
experience "California's Natural Getaway."
This year will be the first time that CCWR will hold a symposium in
Redding. Last year, CCWR marked its 10th annual symposium with a record
breaking attendance. Once again, CCWR has surpassed its original
expectations and achieved higher success than originally envisioned.
Due to the popularity of Dr. Lynn Whited's Pain Management in Wildlife
Patients topic last year, she will be returning and giving the
presentation again. This will be complemented by Dr. Nancy Anderson's
presentation, Dealing with Head Trauma. Additional topics will include
Baby Mammal Care, Chronic Wasting Disease in Deer, Avian-First Response,
Avian Physical Exam and West Nile Virus. This symposium will fulfill eight
hours of continuing education training under the California Department of
Fish & Game.
We hope to see you in Redding, and we thank everyone who has supported us
over the last 11 years.
For the complete schedule and more information, please visit our symposium
page.
